First Annual Phil Clark Stampede – Parade, Car Show, Drag Racing and Fireworks. (This show is in memory of Phil Clark who was the artist who
designed the original concept car "Mustang" back in 1962. He was given credit for the still current Mustang emblem carried on all Mustangs today.)
At the City of Rusk, Texas.  Saturday, July 2, parade formed to travel through the City of Rusk. Car clubs welcome to enter a group of cars; contact

Rydell's Americana Diner will be holding a Classic Car Show awarding two cash prizes for the Owner's Choice of favorite car as well as the People's
Choice ballot.  Entry: $15, and the car owners get the lunch special (choice of ANY Texas-sized hamburger, fries, and fountain drink - $5.95) all
night.  Bring your cars in from 3-4 and judging will occur from 4-6.  There will be a live oldies band playing (the reunion of DFW's highly acclaimed
Vinny and the Jets) and an Elvis impersonator at night.  Stay and watch the fireworks show from the parking lot.  You can't go wrong with cool cars,
